Ring Bolt Cabernet Sauvignon
A deep crimson red which opens with the classical Margaret River nose...fresh varietal notes of bright berried fruits, briar and sea spray, followed by wafts of chocolate and mocha with subtle spiced oak aromas. A medium to full bodied palate shows cassis and Satsuma plum characteristics, leading into the sweet mid-palate depth of chocolate and mocha, finishing with defined talents. The wine is elegant and shows great length of flavour and well-structured palate line. 'Pure and fragrant, expect a nose layered with cassis, blackcurrant, leaf and dusty spice rack spices, while in your mouth it's pure, beautifully structured, fine and dry. Drink it with a good aged cheddar.' - Matt Skinner.

Byron & Harold Rags to Riches Margaret River Cabernet Sauv
Flametree Cabernet Merlot
A lovely example of Margaret River Cabernet Merlot, Flametree Cabernet Merlot is showing big dense fruit characters of blackcurrant and stewed plums. A silky seamless palate with rich fruit concentration and chocolaty complexity. Matured in French oak barrels has softened and rounded this wine.
Fraser Gallop Cabernet Merlot
Since the first release in 2002, Fraser Gallop Estate have gone from strength to strength, picking up a Jimmy Watson Medal along the way. The Cabernet Merlot is a lovely example of the blend which is so at home in Margaret River. Leafy mulberry on the nose with cassis in the background, and a soft , flavoursome palate. Delicious!
Shiraz
This wonderfully elegant Shiraz shows intense, pristine, blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. It almost has a Pinot Noir elegance to it and, luckily, the quality of future vintages will only be getting better too as Voyager's new clones come on line.
Devils Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
'Devil's Lair winery was considered a boutique winery until not that long ago. In recent years it has evolved to become one of the heavy weights of the Margaret River region. The winery's quirky name derives from an archaeological dig site on the property that unearthed an ancient Tasmanian Devil fossil. From the year that Devil's Lair's entry level wines earned accolades at Royal Society shows, I was expecting big things, and this wine doesn't disappoint. The wine's characters are intense, lean and focussed. Notes of strawberry jam, mulberry and blackcurrant. The Devil's Lair Cabernet Sauvignon is built for comfort, not speed. It will age well into teenage years and beyond.' - Andrew Woodforth, Vintage Cellars Spit Junction. Deep Woods Single Vineyard Cabernets
Inky dark red/purple in colour. The nose is redolent with rich plums, dark fruits and warm spices, layered and complex. The palate is plush and generous and exhibits amazing length with detailed tannin structure. This super fine structure frames mulberry and blackberry fruits that cascade across the palate with wonderful exuberance and persistence.
Swinney Frankland River Syrah
“Deep red-purple with a meaty reductive note overlying spices and black cherry to blueberry aromas, the palate supple and smoothly fleshy, medium to full bodied and elegantly styled, very approachable now and with good potential for aging. This is a ripping shiraz, nearly as good as the 2020 Farvie.” 95 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
