Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon is another match that delivers something greater than the sum of its parts. Blend the rich upfront flavour and a lingering aftertaste of Cabernet, with the silky softness consistency of Shiraz, add a splash of Merlot, and you have a Rouge of super delicious deliciousness. This blend has been simply foot-crushed, hand-plunged during wild ferment and basket pressed to old oak for some sleepy time. The Cabernet, Shiraz & Merlot are all from our Quindalup vineyard.

Wine is a vibrant dark plum red colour with brick brown hues.On the nose a subtle white pepper and spicy berry fruit bouquet is rich and dominant. On the palate the lifted aromas follow through and complement the balanced structure of fine tannins, ripe berry flavours and a lean elegant finish. The fruit flavours fill the full length of the palate. This medium to full bodied wine will cellar for at least 8 years under the right conditions and combines beautifully with lamb, mild curry dishes or our favourite, Osso Bucco.

Giesen Pure Light 6% Merlot - 50% less alcohol, 45% less calories* without compromising on flavour. Ripe plum and blackberry notes combine with sweet baking spice and toasty notes on the nose. The palate displays layers of dark berry fruit and vanilla from French oak aging, supported by fine tannin which gives the wine structure and a long dry finish.

Rich and generous with fruit overflowing. A distinctly abundant merlot dominant blend. Flashes of blue fruit - berries and plums - flank dark brooding bramble and blackcurrant. This is a fruit-forward powerhouse of a wine with plushness at its core. It errs on the side of ‘easy going’ for Bordeaux, which can at times present a little rigid and stuffy. Some cigar box and spice shines through at the end, accenting the finish with a savoury seriousness. A prime example of what the right-bank of Bordeaux has on offer.
