Mumm RSRV Champagne Blanc De Noirs

RSRV Blanc de Noirs 2008 is blended from Pinot Noir grapes from Verzenay, a Grand Cru village in the north of the Montagne de Reims. The distinctive character and minerality of this terroir produce a frank, powerful Pinot Noir, giving this champagne its elegance and complexity. Distinguished by notes of toast and brioche, this champagne reveals great intensity and length on the palate. A minimum of six years’ aging in the cellars and a light dosage of 6 grams per liter reveal the structure and aromatic richness of this cuvée. The specific shape of the bottle, with its slender neck, enhances the evolution and conservation of the wine.

Larmandier-Bernier Latitude Blanc Champagne Non-Vintage

Pure and mineral, this, like all the recent bottlings, offers superb texture and stone-fruited depth without sacrificing the cut-diamond precision and citrusy, chalky energy that is a given from this area. In short, this is classic Champagne Larmandier - 100% delicious and all class. Latitude is 100% Côte des Blancs Chardonnay from vineyards on the southern side of Vertus. These vineyards are on roughly the same latitude, hence the name, which also hints at the breadth of texture that the wines from these sites tend to offer. Pure and mineral, this offers texture and stone-fruited depth without sacrificing the cut-diamond precision and citrusy, chalky energy that is a given at this address. Extremely versatile at the table, both of the entry cuvées can work with a wide range of dishes from fish, terrines, any chicken dish particularly lemon chicken and most cheeses (except blue or really strong washed rind).

Francis Orban Champagne Cuvée Millesime

The Pinot Meunier reveals all the fullness of its fruit, and is completed by the Chardonnay with its distinguished freshness. The beautiful green highlights, a slightly golden tint and the fine bubbles evoke the elegance of the Millesime, a rare year, unusual because of its extraordinary weather conditions with sunshine and rainfall playing a major role. Its bouquet expresses the minerality from this exceptional year, and its notes of white-fleshed orchard fruit lead into on fine, subtle toasted notes.
