Ca 'del Baio Valgrande, Barbaresco
CA DEL BAIO Barbaresco Cru Vallegrande For four generations, the Grasso family has quietly made a name for themselves in the Barbaresco region, stretching back to the late 1800s when Giuseppe Grasso moved from Calosso in the Asti region to Treiso. The Barbaresco from Ca del Baio is garnet red with intense aromas of red fruits and flowers on the nose. The wine is dry, smooth and well-rounded on the palate with nicely balanced tannins and a long finish. Perfect with a fine pasta.
MICHELE CHIARLO BARBARESCO ASILI
Michele Chiarlo was founded in 1956 by the sole and present owners, Michele and Giuseppina Chiarlo. Son of over seven generations of esteemed wine growers, Michele is today one of the most respected producers of the fine wines of Piedmont and a leading figure in its viticultural industry. Asili is a relatively new cru within the Barbaresco DOCG. It is said that the blue-grey calcareous marl and clay here contribute to the complexity of the wines here, along with their delicate and refined characters. Delicately perfumed, with characters of pure red fruits and gently aromatic, floral notes, supported by fine spices. Silky tannins frame a core of red berry fruits. Extremely charming, elegant and approachable.

Luigi Pira Barolo Marenca
On the palate it is very vigorous, rich in extracts, with lively and pleasant tannins that are rounded through a skilful use of wood. A powerful, tantalizing wine with a great ageing potential.
Prunotto Barolo
In 1904 a co-operative winery called Ai Vino Delle Langhe was founded and a young man who worked there was Alfred Prunotto. Prunotto took over the estate in 1922, giving it his own name and today it is run under the umbrella of the famous Marchesi Antinori family. Located in Alba the estate tends around 50 hectares of vineyards throughout the Langhe and Monferrato. This Nebbiolo is garnet red in colour with ample and complex aromas of violets and berry fruit, full and velvety in flavour and very balanced. Its structure and body make it an ideal match for meat and game dishes and for cheese.

Elio Altare Giarborina
ELIO ALTARE Giarborina, Langhe DOC The Elio Altare Langhe Giàrborina comes from the La Morra sub-region. Only 150-200 dozen bottles are produced each year from two Nebbiolo plots planted on south and south-east facing slopes, one in 1948, the other in 1989. The vineyards, on clay and sand soils, are farmed organically, but along traditional lines. The grapes are crushed and then macerated on skins for 3-4 days in temperature-controlled rotary fermenters before fermentation using indigenous yeasts. The wine is matured for 18 months in new French oak barriques before bottling unfined and unfiltered. The Elio Altare Giàrborina shows a ruby-red colour with hints of garnet, and an intense balsamic aroma plus small red fruits and rose petals. The palate is typically both balanced and persistent, showing fresh small red fruits, especially raspberries..
