Multi Trophy-winning Sam Trimboli must be one of the country's most in-demand winemakers. But after 30-odd years working for other wineries, he took the big step of setting up on his own in 2018 – and, being an old friend of ours, we backed him every step of the way. The Brown Brothers Ginger and Lime Spritz is a fresh twist on the Ginger flavoured beverages that are so popular right now. The colour is a vibrant light gold. On the nose it is lifted with fresh ginger, finger lime and juicy green grapes. The wine is vibrant and moreish and best served cold or over ice.

A lovely honey-suckle and spicey perfume leads towards tropical fruits, honey dew melon, stonefruit, and a refreshing green mango undercurrent. Pure unadulterated juicy goodness.

De Bortoli Colombard Chardonnay blend has beautifully match the high acidity, fuller bodied Colomblard with the aromatic Chardonnay we all knew so well. Packed with zesty citrus, tropical fruits on the nose. A refreshingly dry whte great with richer seafood dishes.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated pear and red apple aromas intermix with hints of honeysuckle and lime. Delicious juicy pear and red apple fruits drive the mouth watering palate with some delicate infusions of fresh herbs lying underneath. Excellent intensity and beautifully rounded texturally it finishes with a lick of crisp acidity and a long supple fruit driven aftertaste. Drink over the next year. Alc. 11.5%
