The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. During the 1920's, Clydesdale horses were used to distribute water from the main canal to the surrounding landscape of the Riverina. Stables were placed on the corner of Apostles and Moon Roads and at night the Apostles birds would roost in the stables, sharing the horses' food and bed for the evening. Today the Apostles Wines Estate is nestled here and the canal is still the region's lifeline. Our wonderful Durif grapes thrive here, surrounded by native Saltbush. It marries well with Osso Bucco, rich cheeses, steak or a Sunday roast.

While the Rutherglen region is most famous for bold reds and fortified wines, they are quickly making a name for their alternative white varieties such as this tasty Fiano. Intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate herald this mouth staining Durif’s inky dark fruit characters of blackberry, anise and smoky liquorice. The well-integrated mocha oak influence and tight tannins adds complexity and depth that persists to a long flavoursome finish and concentrated palate.

Meticulously crafted from premium grapes, Autumn Wind Brut Cuvée boasts a pale golden hue and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers intense fresh fruit with hints of honeysuckle.
