COMMUNE OF BUTTONS ABC Chardonnay, Basket Range, Adelaide Hills Commune of Buttons began with a single dream between brother and sister, to continue as second-generation growers of grapes. The ABC is an exciting Chardonnay from the Buttons family vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Whole bunches are pressed in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to go through a wild ferment in the barrel before bottling. This has the distinctive hallmarks of natural wine whilst maintaining a textural, bright and clean freshness.

The Tomfoolery High Cotton Pinot Noir 2022 from Adelaide Hills is a true showcase of the region's exceptional terroir. Crafted by the renowned Tomfoolery winery located in South Australia, this vintage boasts a rich ruby hue that entices the eye. Upon the first swirl, the nose is greeted with a bouquet of ripe black cherries, subtle hints of earthy spices, and a touch of floral notes. The 2013 Kanta Riesling is a youthful green gold in the glass. The nose entices with notes of lemon curd, buttery pastry, honeysuckle and kaffir lime leaf, backed by lovely tertiary notes of brown lime cordial and a hint of kerosene. The palate is yielding and fleshy, but remarkably fresh for 8 years old. At first the palate yields pineapple and baked lemon pudding, well supported by gentle acidity. The time on lees and maturation in bottle means that this is a wine that has truly settled into its own skin.
