The Barossa is famous for rich, full-flavoured wines with opulent fruit flavours. The Krondorf philosophy is simple; select the best vineyards that showcase the region's flavours. True to this philosophy, Krondorf Cabernet Sauvignon displays rich spice and berry fruit flavours on the palate.

Deep red with purple hues. Blackberry and blackcurrant aromas with leafy notes. Concentrated varietal cassis flavours with hints of choc mint and forest floor. Fine structural tannins and spicy french oak support a strong core of expressive blackberry and blackcurrant fruit.

Deep garnet in colour, displaying a mixed array of wildberry and red licorice aromas. The palate is fresh and vibrant, juicy and rounded. A very modern styled Barossa Shiraz, which is delicious drinking now that will mature well for the medium term. A variety of fermentation techniques were utilized, but all involved extended skin contact ranging from 15 to 25 days. A cold soak period of up to 6 days occurred before a natural warming to start the fermentation. Upon completion the ferments were pressed to a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads, for malolactic fermentation and maturation.

A beautifully fragrant nose of blackberry and all spice. The palate is long and luscious, displaying excellent fruit intensity with black and blueberries and a hint of black pepper.

Made from Vineyard to bottle. Low yields cool climate grapes from Nangkita Single Vineyard. Deep sandy soil and limestone beneath, rich in elements for natural aromas and flavours. Berry rich and intense formed with oaks. Richly fruited and immediately appealing with blackberry, sweet cherry, rich floral and spicy oak characters on the nose, followed by a wonderfully weighty palate offering richness with supple texture and fine tannins. Vintage Note: A warm October and November advanced budburst andflowering by about two weeks earlier than average.March then saw more stable and mild conditionswhich allowed for a slower finish to the season andensured enough time for tannins to ripen and flavourto develop.
