It is claimed that Dom Bénédictine is made from a traditional recipe from the Dominican Order of Monks (D.O.M) of 1510, lost then later rediscovered by wine merchant Alexandre Le Gran in the 19th century. Today Dom Bénédictine is one of the worlds favourite liqueurs. Its secret recipe contains aged Cognac blended with 27 individual herbs, roots and spices with a mellow touch of honey. Made through the combination of unique ingredients, predominately maize/corn, and the modern technique of column distillation producing an exceptionally clean smooth and sweet Irish whiskey.

The goal from the outset for Italicus was to create a spirit that had exceptional provenance. All the ingredients are 100% Italian, taking the best examples from different regions: Bergamot from Calabria; Cedro from Sicilia; Roman Camomile from Tuscany; Lavender, Gentian, Yellow Roses and Melissa Balm from Piemonte. Our neutral grain spirits are also Italian. Even our cap and bottle are made in Italy. And we do not add any refined sugar or syrup, instead we naturally sweeten our liqueur with a natural brown sugar (cane sugar) in order to respect the Rosolio production process as it was back in the 15th Century. Awarded Ireland's best gin, Dingle Original Gin contains botanicals from a pristine Kerry landscape, including rowan berry, fuschia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather. Macerated for 24hrs, the spirit is distilled in a hand beaten copper still with resulting vapors passing through a flavour basket. The distillate is then cut with pure water drawn from a well 240ft below the distillery. Each bottle is hand filled and numbered by batch.
