Camus VSOP 'Intensely Aromatic' is distinguished by the intensity of its floral notes of white flowers and citrus blossom. Grapes were entirely from the family estate parcels, with a very high proportion from the Borderies Cru. Camus’s patented distillation technique maximizing esters and minimizing higher alcohols content was used. The very high level of terpenols make this the most intensely floral Cognac across the whole VSOP category, partnering delicate flavours with bold aromatics, while the lavish fruity notes are accompanied by accents of vanilla and spice.

Rýmy Martin VSOP is composed of eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the most sought-after vineyards of Cognac: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. Such eaux-de-vie offer exceptional ageing potential, and are blended into what is known as Fine Champagne Cognac.

G.H.MUMM Millésimé 2006 is a luminous and bright golden yellow in colour with fine, lingering bubbles.The nose reveals a superbly complex wine: notes of apple and pear, with yellow fruit such as apricot and mirabelleplum. It then develops aromas of dried fruit and nuts with hints of pastry. After a strong attack, the wine developsgradually. It then reveals the increasingly perceptible presence of Pinot Noir, giving an unctuousness to the structure before unfolding into a long, precise finish.

Veuve Clicquot has been producing fine quality Champagne since it was founded in 1772. In 1810, Madame Clicquot broke new ground by creating the first vintage Champagne, made of grapes from one single harvest. Veuve's non vintage is consistently rated in the top handful of NV Champagnes and delivers a powerful bubbly with a rich mouthfeel. The Ponsardin vintage is elegant with generous freshness and the Pinot Noir lends body to a very lively wine. On the palate there's layers of floral and fruity complexity that flows into a remarkably long and powerful finish.

The 4 to 6-year-old VSOP comes from the picturesque La Pouyade winery, which has been family-owned since 1894 and is completely independent to this day. It is surrounded by 25 hectares of the finest white wine grapes. They thrive in the "Golden Triangle", the heart of Grande Champagne. They are cherished and loved in the fifth generation by Christophe Fillioux and his family, who are one with their vineyard. You can taste that in their extremely aromatic cognacs – and today they are valued around the world. Tasting Notes: Nose: fruity and delicately floral. Palate: Fresh figs and citrus blend with nutmeg, almond paste and orange blossom. Finish: Enjoyable and warming with subtle spice.

Smooth and quite viscous, there is strong evidence of raisins on the palate with a warming finish. This rich Cognac will appeal to all Cognac drinkers.
