With a scarlet red colour, the wine is characterised by a complex and intense bouquet, with notes of ripe dark fruits – ripe plums and figs – which develop over time, coupled subtle oak and with fine flavours of spices and saffron. The deep, velvet taste carries the same fruit flavour with delicate tannins leading to a long sensual after taste. Serve around 15 degrees and pair with classic beef or lamb dishes.
