Shingleback owners John & Kym Davey produce a lovely, rich McLaren Vale Shiraz here with aromas of ripe cherry fruit, milk chocolate and licorice. Plush and sweet fruited on the palate, the tannins are soft and supple. Wonderful drinking.

We managed to secure the last stocks of this Trophy and double Gold-medal winning vintage. In the winery: Selected bunches were hand picked in the third week of March and gently crushed into open top fermenters.In the glass: Vibrant, dense red black.On the nose: Appealing mix of super-ripe black fruit with classic mint herbaceousness. On the palate: Excellent balance with a powerful black fruit core cloaked with bright spice and herb and underlying cedary oak.

Aromas of raspberry, red rose petal perfume, forest floor. The palate shows summer berry fruits, wild herbs, lively mouth feel with light sandy tannins. Raspberry chocolate bullets, black tea leaves and gutsy earthiness to finish, pleasant after grip and a sweet trickle of fruit on the back palate.

This class cabernet has deep red colour with purple hues indicating the freshness and quality to come. Aromas of leafy mint with complex capsicum and cedar with ripe berry notes adding complexity with firm tannins and well balanced acid leading to a long finish.

A deep purple in colour with ruby hues. The nose exudes aromas of fresh blackcurrant, cassis and tobacco leaf. The palate is rich in blackcurrants and ripe red berry flavours with fine-grained tannins blending seamlessly with the fresh lifted fruit flavours. It's medium body and elegant acid structure lends a lovely balance and complexity.

Price’s Block 5 is produced from the oldest and most consistent vines at our McLaren Vale vineyard. Attractively fruited and immediately appealing, the fragrant bouquet shows blackcurrant, spiced cherry, floral, thyme and toasted nut aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is supple and lingering. Pirramimma Shiraz is full-fruited and powerful, with sweet plum and mocha along with cinnamon notes and dark chocolate which are all typical regional characters of McLaren Vale.
