The palate is rich, round, and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins. BUT, is 7% lighter in alcohol than a standard Pepperjack Shiraz.

The Little Giant Shiraz continues to be the favourite in the Wombat family. The wine displays more elegance and lift than previous vintages though the cooler Eden Valley fruit adds aromatic lift, interest, and freshness. This is a contemporary Barossa Shiraz having spent maturation time in older oak adding subtle vanilla and chocolate nuances. There’s softness on the finish and with its moderate alcohol is perfect for the luncheon occasion to partner many red meat cuisines or a Sunday BBQ!

Duck Duck Goose Shiraz is a ripping Barossa Shiraz from Blaxland Vineyards who own and manage over 300 hectares of vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Blaxland have recently been added to Hallidays Wine Companion following a string of good reviews for their wines. The Duck Duck Goose Shiraz is typical Barossa, full bodied with chocolate and black pepper with black cherry notes. A drink now wine that can be matched with a wide variety of foods.

Dense midnight black heart with a deep dark red black shaded hue. Pronounced dark plum aromas are followed by some liquorice and ripe blueberry scents with hints of vanillin cedar, fresh herb and peppered earth notes also present. Medium bodied the palate features juicy dark plum and red liquorice fruits over spicy vanillin cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and light pepper. Polished tannin structure finishing with a youthful freshness and mid length aftertaste. Drink over the next 5-6 years. Alc. 14%

The 2K20 GISA ARC Barossa Shiraz is a rich full flavoured wine with good intensity & power. It is medium bodied wine with generous, ripe fruit flavours, of blue berries, plum, black currant & liquorice. There are hints of vanilla bean and coconut derived from the American Oak with the balance in older French oak 60/40. True to its roots, it is a ripe, rich, full flavoured Barossa Shiraz. History will tell this will be a good vintage.
