Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. From our humble beginnings in the 1960s, we've grown over the past 50-odd years to incorporate the award-winning Sweetwater vineyard as well as the famous Dalwood vineyard, which is considered the birthplace of Australian wine and the country's oldest continually operating vineyard.

The name ‘Alluvius’ derives from the well drained, ‘alluvial’ soils found in vineyards planted close to river beds. These soils are renowned for growing Semillon as it leads to a unique expression of what is considered to be Australia’s greatest white wine style. Pure Semillon aromas of lemongrass and lime articulate the nose of this classic Hunter Semillon. The palate is intense yet elegant displaying mineral texture with great line and length. A wine of great drive, coupled with extraordinary finesse. Enjoy now or confidently cellar for the next 10-20 years.

Allandale from the Hunter Valley produce a lovely Chardonnay that has a great full body to it with nuances of peach and apricot and nice level of complexity due to the new American and French oak employed.

Rich stone fruit, with aromas of citrus. The palate has ripe grapefruit and clean finish.

In the glass: Pale pink. On the nose: Musk, nectarine, peach and white grapes. On the nose: Plump, soft and full of fruit with a sweet mix of stonefruit, guava and grapes, a gentle balancing spritz and lovely texture adding to its charm. A very well made Moscato and true to style.

Aromas of lemon curd, lime, grass and lanolin flow off the nose of this elegant Verdelho. The linear palate contains lime and lemon flavours supported by grippy acidity, finishing in a dry climax.
