Monte dei Cocci Fiano Minutolo is the result of traditional winemaking with a modern approach. The fruit is from the heart of Itria Valley in Puglia, grown at 450 metres. The Fiano Minutolo grape is highly aromatic and the wine produced displays flavours and aromas of flowers and sweet herbs with fresh yellow fruit. Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. The Nugan family named this wine after their grandfather, founder and inspiration - Alfredo Nugan. When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his familys new life in Australia. Medium yellow colour, with the aromas of honey and fig fruit. Rich and buttery with balanced oak length.

Crafted from 100% Beechworth fruit, with wild yeast fermentation and extended lees contact to enhance texture and mouthfeel. Some casual time in (seasoned) oak imbues savouriness and an added layer of complexity to the wine. The result is a zesty, dry Gris that is enjoyably easy to drink any time of year.

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.
