Nick Spencer Wines is a small Canberra based wine company dedicated to producing exceptional, hand crafted wines that honour their local landscape. Producing award winning wines for nearly two decades, Nick’s passion and remarkable talent for considered, quality wines is evident in every bottle. Following four years at the famed University of Adelaide campus, Nick was awarded a degree in Oenology in 2000. Nick has worked for notable producers across the industry, including Rosemount, Coldstream Hills, Madew Wines, Tertini Wines, and led the team at Eden Road Wines for almost a decade before starting his own label with Nick Spencer Wines. A proud Australian wine maker, Nick is particularly passionate about the beautiful NSW regions of Gundagai and Tumbarumba. His winemaking expertise have been widely recognised by the industry, in 2009 Nick was honoured to win the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy. In 2011 Nick was a Len Evans Tutorial Scholar and a finalist in the Young Guns of Wine, that year he also won the National Wineshow Trophy for Best Shiraz. In 2014 Nick was a finalist in the Gourmet Traveller Wine Winemaker of the Year awards. His wines are regularly recognised by James Halliday, most recently being noted in the top ten best new wineries for 2019. A light, crisp and dry style of Rose made from Grenache, Sangiovese and Merlot grown in the Hilltops region of Southern New South Wales. Aromas of tangerine, red berries and fresh watermelon. The palate is is beautifully balanced and dry.

Pizzini Rosetta Rose
If one is an Italian winemaker established in King Valley region, chances are that he would use a grape variety like the great Sangiovese to craft a Rosetta wine. This is exactly what the Pizzinis have done, making them a revered name in the Australian wine industry. Their Rosetta is a marvellous and savoury pink wine that matches well with a wide variety of food. Flavours of strawberries and cherries along with aromas of fresh berries and carefully selected cranberries are integrated into each drop of this wonderful wine. Serve this Rosetta with seafood or antipasto.
Maison de la Villette Cabernet Franc
La Villette is an old district of Paris where the main food and wine market supplying the city used to be located. It was a very animated area where Parisians used to get together in some famous bistros reputed for their fresh food and good wines. This medium bodied Vin de France red has all of the requisite red fruited and floral fragrance "cab franc" is renowned for. The red fruit flavours are succulent and juicy. It's an "easy drinking" wine best enjoyed over the next 2 to 3 years.
Maison Fortant Rose Gris De Grenache
Maison Fortant rose is a perfect reflection the azure lifestyle in the Mediterranean. This wine is a brilliant, pale pink colour. The nose has aromas of raspberry jelly, red berries, and white flowers. The palate is a beautiful balance and freshness with good length and dynamic and characterful finish.
Spinifex Rose
Vinification is simple and centred around preserving the delicacy, freshness and vitality found in early picked old vine fruit. This Spinifex Rose consists of Grenache (52%), Cinsault (30 %), Mataro (14%) and Ugni blanc (4%). Bunches from mature (averaging 65 years of age) dry drown vineyards are hand harvested and the crushed and left to macerate for between 4 and 48 hrs prior to pressing.
