This Grenache was cultivated in the south of France, between Béziers and Perpignan, near the Mediterranean coast. The 20- to 50-year-old sloping vineyards are located on clay-silty soils coming from the old Aude river, and from the clay-limestone soils of the Minervois PGI area. Deep purple in color with vivid highlights. Intense nose of red fruits, notes of soft spices . The palate is rich, well-balanced, round withnotes of fresh fruits coulis such as raspberry, strawberry, blueberry. Notes of spices lend freshness to the wine.
Famille Perrin Reserve Cotes du Rhone Rose
Chaffey Bros Not Your Grandma's Rosé
Thistledown
Grenache is Australia's signature grape variety and we're slightly obsessed with it. Our first Rose is sourced from an old, single vineyard in Berri. Beautifully pale, salmon pink with delicate arommas and lovely texture, it lives up to its name.
Dandelion Vineyards Fairytale of the Barossa Rose
The aromatics are true to type, initially delicate, even shy. Then as the glass warms a melange of spices including cardamom with hints of Lily of the Valley. The palate has drying raspberry entry followed by raspberries more fresh and zingy. All in all a long palate that really saturates your tastebuds with flavour. Please serve chilled. If you serve this wine at room temperature much of the magic of the Fairytale will be lost.
Gerard Betrand Côte des Roses Rosé
Displayed in a show-stopping bottle, the joy of the Gerard Betrand Côte des Roses Rosé doesn't end there. Floral on the nose, it moves to a fresh palate filled with summer fruits. A favourite for Sunday brunch with your nearest and dearest.
