The Shiraz is a class-A, born and bred, full-bodied Barossa red. Bright garnet in colour with a vibrant nose of mulberry and hints of sweet strawberry. In balance tannin and acid balance along with a superb long length make this Barossan a wonderful value-for-money buy.

With its rich, full-bodied palate that Barossa Shiraz lovers can't get enough of, the Riebke is also balanced with fine, powdery tannin and great use of oak to bring a moreish quality to this great value-for-money Shiraz.

The Stonehorse wines are vinified to make styles that emphasise fruit characteristics with complementary barrel maturation. The oak is designed to support and add structure to the palate without compromising the drink ability of the wine. Formed in 2005, Artisans of Barossa is a group of wine producers with a like-minded approach to winemaking and wine enjoying. This wine is blended from barrels selected by the winemakers from each of their cellars. On the nose, there are aromas of dark plum and chocolate with hints of cardamom pod, clove, aniseed and cracked black pepper. The palate is rich with dark fruits and dark chocolate supported by a long savoury line of gentle tannin. The wine finishes smooth and long in the classic style of great Barossa Shiraz. Enjoy with braised meats or a cheese and charcuterie board.

Grapes for this Shiraz are sourced from our growers in the Barossa Valley. The well ripened grapes are carefully destemmed and crushed to fermenters where they are macerated in a way to minimise extraction of hard tannins. All providing a rich and generous nose and mouthfeel. This is achieved with less vigorous maceration and lower fermentation temperatures. Maturation then takes place with American and French oak before blending and bottling. The grapes for our Shiraz come from our loyal growers throughout the Barossa Valley. Soils, site and viticultural practices vary but the one common factor in these vineyards is the unmistakable generosity that shines through in the wine.
