Rob has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. He learnt skills (and some wild stories) from these places that few could compare.
Amen Break Chinamans Terrace Central Otago NZ Pinot Noir
The Amen Break Chinamans Terrace Central Otago NZ Pinot Noir has a wonderful dense deep red colour. romatics of red plum, black cherry and bunch-ý-derived Campari are pure and intense. The palate is a revelation - dense but bright, concentrated and with space. Pure Pinot Noir flavours are wrapped in fine filigreed tannins, which are layered and add many levels of complexity. A vibrant, vineyard derived wine, free of winemaking artifact and rich in authenticity.

Rapaura Springs have turned plenty of heads with their current releases - the Reserve Pinot Noir is little short of jaw dropping. Drinking beautifully now expect a nose that's ripe, plush and jammed full of seductive fruit and spice smells, while textbook silky mouth-feel leads to a long fine finish. Drink it with five spice duck and rice.
Mount Difficulty Roaring Meg Pinot Noir
This wine highlights the slightly cooler season with lovely perfumed dark red forest berries and cherry fruits along with a hint of dried herb, adding complexity. The wine has a sweet berry entry which displays these same characters in abundance. Lovely ripe textural tannins rise gracefully out of the mid-palate to finish the wine. These are balanced by the wines acidity and fruit, to produce a long fruit-driven finish.
Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir
Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is a bright red hued wine flaunting interesting aromas of briar patch and gun smoke from its perfumed bouquet. A sip of the wine presents vibrant and fruit forward flavours, supported by low tannins. These flavours and fragrances fuse together to culminate the wine in a soft and captivating finish. It tastes amazing with rabbit pie and meat dishes.

A classic Fromm Vineyard Pinot Noir, a multi-layered wine, very concentrated without appearing big or heavy, with positive tannin support. At its best it shows a masculine charm with a distinct terroir-related identity, aging superbly.
Fromm La Strada Pinot Noir
Fromm's passion for Pinot Noir is reflected in the attention to detail shown in the vineyard and throughout the winemaking process. Carefully selected clones and rootstocks, together with intensive vineyard care and low cropping, means the vines produce fruit that illustrates the terroir in which they were grown. Today in the Fromm stable of vineyards there are eleven clones, 4000 - 5000 vines per hectare, with crop levels around five to six tonnes per hectare. The blend which makes up each years La Strada Pinot Noir by Fromm depends on what nature has given in each of their vineyards. Invariably, the wine is strongly varietal, fruity and has immediate appeal.
