The last few releases of Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon have put this firmly on the map of Australian benchmark Cabernets. It's colour already a great indication of a wine with depth, along with the complex aromas of blackcurrant, dark fruits and well integrated oak. The ripe fruits are very concentrated on the palate with distinctive fine tannins, hints of sweet spice and a lingering finish. A fantastic vintage to enjoy now or careful cellaring for another 6 - 8 years.

V & A Lane is named after a long straight road that dissects Coonawarras renowned terra rossa strip. A historical location, first surveyed in 1851, it has long been used as a landmark setting out the northern and southern ends of Coonawarra. A classic Australian blend, V & A Lane displays the purity of cassis from Cabernet seamlessly blended together with the ample mid-palate black fruit of Shiraz. From the Riversdale vineyard in the Frankland River sub-region of the Great Southern, this is a concentrated and fuller bodied shiraz with black fruit and black pepper aromas and an intriguing savoury palate revealing plush tannins and great length. Well suited to roasted red meat dishes.
