The mid weighted palate is generously flavoured with red currant and red cherry fruits which overlay a dried herb backdrop. This Merlot is a medium bodied style with abundant ripe red berry fruit flavours displayed on a rich round mid palate. The red currant, plum flavours integrate well with subtle oak characters creating a balanced wine.

2019 Coffee Rock Merlot Black currant fruits, mocha and some cigar box aromas. Nice firm yet supple tannins which will soften with some cellar time. Estate grown on our coffee rock soils.

This Merlot is, without any doubt, a faithful representation of its variety. It´s complex, very spicy, and has refined and ripe tannins with balanced natural acidity. Aromas consists ofcassis and candied red berries with spiced notes.
