2013 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Old Vines Shiraz. Deep purple, with a bright purple hue. Concentrated notes of dark cherry and blood plums, followed by raspberry, bay leaf and lavender. Dark and focused, filled with juicy and vibrant fruit. Blood plum and magnolia on the mid palate. Sleek, plush tannins frame bright fruit, creating a seamless, layered wine, indicative of its cool-climate home.

Riddoch The Representative Cabernet Merlot

John Riddoch MHA, who entered South Australia's Parliament (1865) as the South East's representative. Founded the Coonawarra Wine Region (1890) with the aspiration of making the finest wine in the country. The 2021 Riddoch The Representative Cabernet Merlot exhibits Cassis redcurrant spice aromas, fine chalky tannins and generous flavours. Aged in new-and-seasoned French and American oak for around 12 months, the wine is supple with gentle vigour. Drink now or may be cellared for years to come.

John Riddoch's first vintage of Coonawarra Claret (1890) was a shiraz-dominant wine. Matured in new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. Drink now or will reward careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

Riddoch The Author Cabernet Sauvignon

The Author pays homage to pioneering vigneron John Riddoch (1827 - 1901). A true visionary, Riddoch is regarded as one of the founding fathers of Australian wine. An influential figure, he established the Coonawarra fruit colony in 1890 and is synonymous with the region's story. The Author represents the finest expression of the vintage. Dark red in colour, with a crimson hue and classic aromatics of ripe cassis and blackberry fruit. Vibrant blueberry and black forest fruit flavours aew well integrated with hints cedar and spicy oak from maturation in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.Elegantly structured, fine grained tannins lead to a long and persistent finish. This has all the hallmarks of a classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and will drink well now but will reward patient cellaring for 10 to 15 years.

The remnants of an ancient seabed formed the hard-packed Limestone base which atop sits the famous Coonawarra Red Terra-Rossa. Even today the marine life can be seen with the soft rock providing a natural filter for the water pooled in the aquifer below. Elegant yet powerful Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. Lifted aromas of blackberry and plum, dried sage, mint and tobacco with overlaid with cedar oak notes. An intense and flavour-filled palate of plums, blackberries complemented with sturdy but well balance tannins holding together a long lingering finish.

Lindemans Limestone Ridge Coonawarra Trio Shiraz Cabernet
