Luscious Viognier from RedHeads and the sustainable Winery in the heart of the Barossa where their wines are made. RedHeads has always been a bit of a rebel! The ‘movement’ started in 2002 in the McLaren Vale – in a cellar where young winemakers could come in their spare time and make just the sort of small-scale wine they dreamed of (not like they did in their day job). Since then, the winery has moved home a few times, and today make their wines in the Barossa, at one of Australia's leading eco-friendly cellars. There, surrounded by many of Australia's biggest wine names, they handcraft revolutionary wines from top batches of grapes, rescued from under the noses of the big players.

Langhorne Creek enjoys legendary status in the wine industry because its powerful, distinctive fruit has been the ‘secret weapon’ in many Jimmy Watson winning wines. This lavish Reserve Shiraz shows the region's power and complexity. Rich in flavour and character, it has vibrantly rich fruit (plum, blackberry, boysenberry and raspberry), exotic spice, and the famous Langhorne Creek softness and plushness . Supple, fine-grained tannins and a hint of coconut oak finishes it off beautifully.

Origination comes from the heart of Stonyfell and the place it all began. It represents an enduring legacy built on determination and unwavering dreams. This wine provides rich white peach flavours with tropical fruits and a nice acidity line.

Our Fiano is a modern Australian interpretation of this delicious Italian grape variety. Aromas of honeydew and white peach with hints of citrus blossom and kaffir lime. On the palate we taste an array of complex fruits from white peach and semi dried white nectarine, to white saffron pear and citrus with classic creamy texture that is Fiano. The wine finishes refreshingly dry and crisp. A great partner with salads, seafood, light poultry and a refreshing drink on its own.

Full bodied with rich flavours of plums, blackcurrants and dark spice. Soft and satisfying on the palate with a beautiful mouthfeel and finish.

One of the very best Chardonnays doing the rounds from McLaren Vale due to its lighter, slightly austere nature. Citrus melon and fruit-salad aromas give this Chapel Hill Chardonnay an attractive lifted bouquet and the palate is flavoursome fresh and lively. Great drinking!

d'Arenberg Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne has medium golden colour leads to a sweetly ripe nose of apricots and honeysuckle. The palate is big textual and warmish with sweet apricot and stewed pear flavours. Perfect with red duck curry.

With Fiano being a relatively new variety to Australia (originates from the Campagna region of Italy) who better than the Oliver family now celebrating over 170 years of grape growing, to create this Taranga farm favourite. This delicious drop is all sweet ripe lime and pear flavours with loads of texture perfect for lovers of fresh crisp white wines. As Gary Walsh said dangerously easy to drink.

The Serafino Fiano is a bright vibrant wine, displaying intense citrus and floral characters. The wine is crisp and refreshing with layers of flavour and a fine mouthwatering finish.

Take all the joy of a summer fruit salad, with the zip and zing of tropical fruit and a dash of sunshine, distil it into a wine and you will have the miracle that is Verdelho. A native of Portugal, this sumptuous grape has really made a home for itself here in Australia. It’s a wine you’ll be seeing a lot more of as it makes it way onto the wine lists of the country’s best restaurants. Love a fruit-forward Chardy without any of the oak? Partial to a tropical Sav Blanc that’s a little less grassy? This is your perfect middle-ground and will definitely hit the sweet spot.
