Capel Vale Regional Riesling

Exceptional ripening conditions for white wines with a consistent flavour development and a natural acid balance. Floral, citrus, apple with lychee aromas lead into a complex but generous mid palate which finishes long and crisp. Grilled snapper and Asian cuisine.

West Cape Howe Regional Range Sauvignon Blanc

Very bright and clear with the tiniest hint of pale straw. Beautifully aromatic, this has the typically pungent, grassy and herbaceous aroma that Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for, as well as some light, fresh tropical fruit characters and attractive floral notes. Super delicious on the palate with those zesty and delicious tropical fruit flavours. There's a good balance between these subtle, guava fruit flavours from the slightly riper picked grapes and fresh, zingy acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc from our cooler sites. It's a wine with good palate weight and a lovely, mouth filling, fresh acidity giving good length of flavour. "These wines are from our Estate vineyards, made with minimal winemaking intervention to ensure best possible varietal flavour and regional expression." Gavin Berry, Winemaker Taken from several blocks from which to choose the best parcels and, with the winery on-site, the fruit gets processed immediately, thus ensuring no loss of quality. Harvesting in the cool overnight temperatures also avoids the risk of oxidation or any loss of fruit flavour. Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe was named after a famous coastal landmark nearby. It was founded in 1997 by Brenden and Kylie Smith before being sold to Gavin Berry (ex-Plantagenet) and partners. West Cape Howe source fruit from specific vineyards, and sometimes specific plots, throughout the maritime-influenced Great Southern wine region. Premium parcels of fruit come from their Langton vineyard, planted in 1978. It has some of the most mature vines in the whole Great Southern area. Senior winemaker Gavin Berry prides himself on creating innovative wines that reflect the diversity of the Great Southern region. He makes wines from Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, to name just a few. The wine styles vary from fresh and fruity, under the Western Australian label, to wines with a more regional focus, under the Great Southern label.

Vasse Felix Chardonnay

Frankland Estate Riesling

With aromas of white citrus blossom and steely minerality on the nose, this Frankland Estate Riesling has soft and approachable flavour combinations of lime and mandarin pith, highlighted by the texture and the hint of spices driving the acidity throughout the palate. This is an exceptional wine that can be enjoyed now or with the right cellar condition, it will continue to develop further complexity for many years to come.

Xanadu Chardonnay

Pears, stone fruit and citrus gives way to a creamy, nutty middle and fresh acidity to close.

Mount Macleod Chardonnay

Expressive aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with subtle mineral overtones and hints of vanilla and spice. A leaner style of Chardonnay with unusual complexity and interest for this sort of price and which will complement a range of dishes.

Alkoomi Collection Chardonnay

Oakridge Over The Shoulder Chardonnay

Oakridge are at their best with premium Chardonnay, and it shows here. This is their signature; delicious nectarine and minerals, finely textured structure and gorgeous length.

Franklin Tate Estates Traditional Chardonnay

The Tate family are one of the most famous wine names in Western Australia, especially in Margaret River. It was the Tate family who began Evans & Tate decades ago and today the Tate name is re-born under the Franklin Tate Estates label. Franklin, son of John, has sourced some of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Margaret River and has highly regarded winemaker Rory Clifton-Parks to hand-craft the quality wines, like this traditional Chardonnay.

Craggy Range Kidnappers Chardonnay

A pale straw colour with vivid green hues. Gunflint, almond and lemon zest characterise the aroma. The wine has a steely edged structure and the mid-palate is filled with white peach and oyster-shell flavours. It draws into a long, spicy finish.
