Our tropical take on a traditional sloe gin; swapping sloe berries for locally grown Far North Queensland Davidson Plums. The plums are steeped for up to 3 months to produce a truly unique sloe style gin. With an earthy aroma that is reminiscent of plum jam, stewed rhubarb and a touch of sweetness. Pepper famed bourbon distiller, who then introduced it to New York high society during his frequent visits to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel bar in New York. They clearly embraced it, given how the infamous Mad Men had such a taste for it 80 years later in the 1960s Manhattan advertising scene. The Old Fashioned has had a makeover or two over its time. But this smooth, bitter, sweet simplicity of Bulleit Straight Bourbon Whiskey, traditional Angostura Bitters, and sugar cane syrup is a tonic that Don Draper himself would approve of.Serving Suggestions:Serve Dr Onyx Old Fashioned gently swirled in a short glass over ice, with a twist of orange zest. Pinch the zest so the oils spray over the drink before dropping it into the glass.
