Rolando Nuti was the first to plant a small vineyard in the 1900s, to produce reds solely for the family table. Over a century later, brothers Luca and Flavio Nuti use the same old vines to craft sought-after reds like this silky, rich Super Tuscan. With recognition at global competitions and multiple high scores, Vallino is a testament to decades of hard work and the duo’s passionate, quality-obsessed approach. They even play special 'music' at 440hz to soothe their top wines in barrel. Mainly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with a dash of Sangiovese, it delivers dense flavours of plum, cassis and raspberry, with notes of chocolate, tobacco and vanilla, thanks to a year in fine French oak. From the very best sites in the region of Coonawarra, this wine shows classic regional mint and blackcurrant on the nose with a silky supple palate, elegant fruit characters, toasty oak and long, fine tannins.

Le Difese (Toscana IGT) is produced by Tenuta San Guido since 2003. It is a 70% Cabernet and 30% Sangiovese blend. The wine is distinguished by a good structure and is extremely supple making it very pleasant and drinkable.

Farnese Edizione gives a very deep garnet red colour. The nose is intense and persistent with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and hints of mineral. The palate has great structure, good balance between alcohol and freshness, velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish, ready to drink, or can be put in the cellar for a few years.

Representing the pinnacle of any given vintage, the Deep Woods Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from the very low yielding original vines on the estate in the Yallingup region of Margaret River and a single growers vineyard in the Yallingup hills. The palate is layered with complex and generous varietal flavours, supported by interwoven French oak characters and a savoury complexity. This is an exceptional Cabernet that will age gracefully will careful cellaring.

A stylish blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Shiraz and Petit Verdot, from low yielding vineyards have produced another wine of elegance and class. Blackberry, mint and tobacco flavours are framed by fine tannin. The Shiraz adds some supple softness and the Petit Verdot adding aromatic lift. Another triumph!

Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon has a generous and beautifully structured palate, layered with dense fruits of the forest, ripe tannins and a persistent fruit finish. Taking all before it at the recent Dan Murphy's National Wine Show of Australia, this Xanadu Cabernet will be snapped up quickly!

St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz displays a dark ruby red with purple hues. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.
