The St Andrews Cabernet from Taylors has fine tannins and opulent cassis and fresh blackberry fruit are combined with cedar oak notes that make for a lovely drinking wine for now or something for the medium term section of your cellar.

A high quality wine from the first whiff of the bouquet through to the long finish...has a tapestry of flavours from the base of Cabernet...all supported by persistent but ripe tannins, the oak absorbed by the fruit. Always a pungent and concentrated Cabernet with notes of cassis, cedar and trademark bitter chocolate bound with fine tannins. A propensity to age in the bottle for over a decade as well as its approachability early in life will appeal to all.

Woodlands were one of the 'first wave' of wineries to set up in the Margaret River in the early 1970s and today that heritage is in the capable hands of Andrew and Stuart Watson, sons of the pioneering David. The Margaret Cabernet Merlot displays aromas of rosemary, leather and spice winding through blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is a reflection of the nose, and is bolstered by eucalypt, bay leaf and cranberry flavours.

This medium to full bodied wine has a lovely balance and style in true Church Block character. Church Block was the first wine the late Greg Trott produced under the Wirra Wirra label back in 1972. He took the name from one of the original vineyards, which runs next to the small Bethany Church (Est 1854) across the road from Wirra Wirras century old ironstone cellars. These wines are named after a person or event that has played an intrinsic role in the Peter Lehmann story. Over his 50-year career, Peter Lehmann has inspired countless people by sharing his talent, wit and passion for winemaking. It is these characteristics we honour with "Mentor". For this wine, they blended Barossa Cabernet with Shiraz and a dash of Malbec to create a wine with layers of texture and flavour. By drawing fruit from a number of Barossa sub-regionseach with their own unique terroirthe Mentor captures the immense regional definition of a great Barossa red. Having worked closely with the growers over the years, they share Peter's belief in growing wine, not just grapes, and work with the winemaking team to keep yields low and produce a complex wine, with rich and firm dark fruit flavour.
