This attractive Merlot displays varietal aromas of cassis and liquorice. The palate is fleshy and mouth filling with flavours of plum, sweet spice and creamy vanillin oak.

The 2014 Yalumba Y Series Tempranillo has aromas of blueberry, black cherry and fennel seed leaping from the glass. It is juicy and plush on the palate with apparent dark berries and mocha tannins. The finish is rustic and savoury. Enjoy with salt and pepper grilled lamb cutlet.

This Cabernet shows excellent varietal character and structure. Blackcurrant and cassis flavours are complemented by soft tannins and well-integrated oak.

This Pinot Noir from the home of the long white cloud offers ripe red berry fruit aromas of cherries and vanilla with spicy undertones. The palate is rich in flavours of cinnamon, rhubarb, tamarilllo and red cherries shine through. The tannins are velvety with a long finish. Ideally suited to drink with figs, swiss cheese and dark chocolate.

The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here. Lindeman's, a well know household name for good quality wine. Their Bin 95 Sauvignon Blanc was an elegantly made classic with gooseberry and ripe kiwifruit on the nose; medium bodied with similar characteristic on the palate. Short to medium length with a clean finish.
