A new brand for CW Wines that sources fruit from vines that are 35yrs and over. Named after the local archery club in the southern central area of the Barossa.Deep inky red. Blackberry, milk chocolate, dried herbs and vanilla. A deep core of black and purple fruit is supported by plush tannins with attractive spice and dried herb notes, supple mouthfeel, and charry oak in balance with the sweet fruit.

Sourced from specially selected vineyards in central Barossa Valley around Nuriootpa. Matured for 2 years in 50% new oaks and 50% 1-year-old oaks. Using Mixed French and American Hogshead. Elegant rose and violet nose with bright mulberry and cherry notes. The detailed, balanced and restrained palate shows good depth of fruit flavour while the palate shows subtle tannin and structure. Great with any meat or just drink by itself. Drink now or age for 5 - 10 years.

The wine is a contemporary Barossa Valley Shiraz with over 2 years oak maturation adding subtle fruitcake, vanilla, licorice flavours to this complex wine. The Longbow Shiraz is a blend of hand-selected low yielding parcels. The wine offers generous flavours of black fruit, olive and pepper spice. Restrained oak and silky tannins ensures the palate has great depth and length for a complex finish.

The Ann-Inspired Shiraz is names after my late Nan- Thelma Ann Dewey. The 17th March 2017 marked the day that both my beloved Nan passed and the fruit for my top tier Shiraz arrived at the Winery. As a result, we dedicated the title of this wine to her memory.<br>The thumb print that you see on the front label, is that of my Pop - Raymond Dewey, who spent 76 years with dear Ann, so we felt it only fitting that they share in this label together.
