Hay Shed Hill has delicate grapefruit and stone fruit flavours on the palate. And these flavours are matched with fine, minerally acidity with suble oak towards the finish.

The clever team from this winery have created three labels that that all over deliver that their price points. The middle tier, Stella Bella, is a Fine Wine favourite, and this blend shows why. Fresh citrus, gooseberry, custard apple, stone fruits, sweet herbs & spice are all rolled into one great little wine.

In the glass: Pale lemon with a green hue. On the nose: Gooseberry, grapefruit and smokey oak aromas. On the palate: Layered and complex with lingering flavour persistence, lovely savoury layers of citrus fruit and faint tropicals, refreshing acidity and obvious yet good quality oak. From the Singlefile vineyard in the Denmark sub-region on the Great Southern, this is a modern styled. lightly oaked chardonnay showing grapefruit and white peach aromas and sublte oak. The palate displays citrus and stone fruit with a soft creamy finish.

Fragrant and energetic, the nose has an abundance of lycee, kiwifruit and blackcurrant with lime curd and lemon sherbet. Thai basil, sliced fennel, ginger and citrus blossom sit neatly in the background. A gentle entry leads to a delicately textured mid palate. Bursting lemon, lime and grapefruit dominate throughout with bright acidity, a slightly savoury line and a talc-like finish.
