Cape Mentelle's Cabernet Sauvignon under the guidance of Rob Mann has become one of Australia's most prestigious Cabernet's. Sourced from what many believe to be the true home to Cabernet in Australia, the Margaret River, Cape Mentelle produce a wine that has a plush full-flavoured palate of concentrated blackcurrants and mulberries with a minerally spine. Richly textured and vibrant the palate finishes long with fine yet firm gravelly tannins. A superb candidate for some medium to long term cellaring.

This Clare Valley Cabernet from Taylors shows ample varietal blackcurrant flavour seasoned with some attractive sweet oak. The tannins are firm but nicely in balance.

The grapes for this sibling to the organic Chardonnay are sourced from Angove's own Organically certified Nanya vineyards and premium certified Organic growers in the Riverland region. The result is a versatile, vibrant and spicy yet easy to drink red full of dark fruit and soft oak flavours, with a long yet soft, earthy finish.

Brown Brothers have added the Prosecco Rosato to join the original, and much loved, Prosecco. In the glass there is a rose-gold colour and a soft nose of strawberry and apple skins. With the addition of a touch of Cienna to the Prosecco, the sparkling wine retains its trademark acidity while showcasing a softer, rounder side to the palate. Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.

A fine Cabernet from the Pyrenees region, Blue Pyrenees Cabernet Sauvignon show rich varietal flavours of blackcurrant and cedar with the distinctive minty regional notes in the background.

Xanadu Fusion Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark berry fruits, and black plums entwined with savoury hints of bay leaf and spicy, toasty oak. The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and mocha flavours. A generous wine, with a solid tannin structure and fleshy fruit characters which persist through to a warm, lingering finish.

This is seriously good Cabernet from the Barossa Valley. Displaying blackcurrants and plums with a hint of cigar box and soft supple velvety tannins.

Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.
