Sourced from the Frasca’s Lane Vineyard in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

Leconfield's Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of Leconfield and a classic Coonawarra Cabernet. Blackcurrant aromas are combined with cedary oak and the palate is laden with sweet berry fruit balanced by fine lingering tannins. Pizzini Arneis is grown and made in the foothills of the King Valley. This delicate grape ripens slowly in the protective Autumn mists and shows a bouquet of quince and almond and the palate displays wonderfully elegant fruit flavours.

The grapes for this sibling to the organic Chardonnay are sourced from Angove's own Organically certified Nanya vineyards and premium certified Organic growers in the Riverland region. The result is a versatile, vibrant and spicy yet easy to drink red full of dark fruit and soft oak flavours, with a long yet soft, earthy finish.

Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. The last few releases of Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon have put this firmly on the map of Australian benchmark Cabernets. It's colour already a great indication of a wine with depth, along with the complex aromas of blackcurrant, dark fruits and well integrated oak. The ripe fruits are very concentrated on the palate with distinctive fine tannins, hints of sweet spice and a lingering finish. A fantastic vintage to enjoy now or careful cellaring for another 6 - 8 years.
