The wine displays a deep ruby red colour, a bouquet redolent of spicy berry aromas intermingled with oak and a full rounded body that pairs well with grilled meats and sauces.

Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.

When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family’s new life in Australia. Sourced from the Frasca’s Lane Vineyard in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

The bouquet is vibrant with enticing blood plum, cherry, and dark chocolate aromas. A fleshy palate features bright acidity and soft, plush tannins. Damson plum and bramble fruit flavours with entrenched nuances of dried herb and white pepper.

Aromas of cherry, raspberries, red plum and sweet herbs are supported with lifted oak spice notes.
