The Brown Brothers Refreshing Tempranillo is a medium bodied red wine that we have made specifically for serving at your desired temperature. At room temperature the wine shows a vibrant purple colour with juicy red berry fruit and spices on the nose. It is medium bodied and soft on the palate. When chilled it takes refreshment to new highs by enhancing the fruit driven qualities. Vegan Friendly. Allora Rosso is a delicious medium-bodied red wine produces by Joel Pizzini (of Pizzini Wines). Sourced and made in King Valley, these Italian-style wines play on the meaning of “Allora,” which rolls beautifully from the tongue and buys the Italians a moment in time. It’s a word for everyday use, much like the Allora wines are made for enjoying every day with good company and good food. Allora Rosso is an Italian style blend made from Canaiolo, Sangiovese and a splash of Shiraz. Violets, cherries, plums, licorice and spice with a hint of chocolate on the finish. This is a perfect midweek wine, versatile enough to be enjoyed with pizza, osso bucco or even a spicy tomato pasta.

The 2002 Heritage Release Cabernet Sauvignon was Mark’s first ever vintage at Gundowring. We rediscovered a small quantity of these bottles while moving stock and having sampled several bottles were delighted that they are drinking exceptionally well, with fresh fruit balanced by soft tannins. With Trudi and Ian’s blessing we’ve labeled them under the Elura label. FOOD & WINE MATCHING Elura’s 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a food wine ideally complements rich and bold red meat flavours, hearty casseroles or cured meats. Best decanted. CELLARING With 20+ years in cellar already, this Heritage Release Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking well now and has cellaring potential of another 10+ years.
