Sourced from growers from limestone rich soils of the Entre-Deux-Mers and Côtes de Bordeaux to the clay soils around Blaye and the gravel rich Côtes de Bourg. Vines have flourished in the Luberon for hundreds of years with the grapes benefiting from the warmth of the Mediterranean climate whilst retaining a lovely fresh finish. A wonderful crisp and fruity Rose with notes of wild strawberries and fresh cherries. Perfect as an aperitif or as a partner to fish and shellfish, chicken dishes and salads.

The bouquet shows great density, ripe concentrated blackcurrant, anise, black cardamom and lifted lavender with hints of black olives and plum aromas. The entry on the palate is soft and succulent whilst displaying a subtle texture with a black core of fruit including boysenberry, dark cherries and olive tapinade. The tannin and acid are seamlessly integrated from the front through to the long and lingering finish.

St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz displays a dark ruby red with purple hues. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.

Calvet Grande Reserve is a red colour with purple hints. Powerful and complex nose, with scents of red fruits and spices. The attack is nice and structured, with flavours of cherry and vanilla. The finish is long and pleasant.

The 2014 vintage shows a lovely deep purple colour. Soft, supple and stylish are just three words to describe this beautiful wine. Full bodied and vinous on the palate with flavours of red and black fruit. The finish is a perfect example of a wine with character and breeding.
