Woodlands Chardonnay has an attractive nose of grapefruit enhanced by some oak characters. A wine of some finesse with the elements of fruit, oak and acid coming together to produce a wine of exceptional balance and length.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. The complete winemaking process takes place at the estate - picking to vinification to barrel maturation to bottling to cellaring. Fraser Gallop Estate is an estate grown, produced and bottled wine. With the benefit of bottle age, this wine has gracefully traded some of its youthful vibrancy for a beautiful increase in texture and complex depth. The elegant nose has matured, allowing the luxurious notes of roasted cashew, almond meal, and subtle spice to rise to the forefront, perfectly complementing the soft, integrated citrus and floral hints. On the palate, the immense purity of youth has evolved into a delicately layered, full mouthfeel defined by sesame seed and blanched almonds. The fine mineral spine is now a commanding feature, ensuring the wine retains a powerful persistence and finishes with polished structure.

This wine is of exceptional quality is made from selected Semillon grapes grown in the prime region of South Eastern Australia. To make it completely unique a special teqhnique was developed to infuse 23 Karat pure gold leaf into the wine. The nose has intense fruit salad and raisin characters while on the palate the fruit flavours are long & lingering, finishing with the intensity and balanced by fresh acidity. The pleasurable experience is best when served chilled. Ideal food accompaniments include sweet desserts, cheeses & dried fruits.The gold leaf is completely inert and some cultures say that drinking it is good for health and well being.

CREDARO 1000 Crowns Chardonnay, Margaret River The Credaro family, originally from northern Italy, settled in Margaret River in 1922. Brothers Cesaro and Olympio worked in agriculture and the timber industry and helped build the regions first bridges, railways and major roads. The family also made wine every year for themselves and their neighbours. Commercial involvement in the wine industry had to wait until the 1980s, when the Credaros began supplying other established Margaret River wineries. In 2019 the family owned and/or managed 110ha of vineyard over five sites across the region and built a 1200-tonne winery near Yallingup in northern Margaret River, in 2003. 1000 crowns (nominally $500) was the Credaro familys original investment and the name is today applied to their flagship wines. The 1000 Crowns Chardonnay typically shows fragrant white peach and citrus aromas with pear and nougat nuances. The palate is rich with flavours of stonefruits, grapefruit and citrus blossom complemented by a creamy texture from lees influence. A fine acid line provides a mineral framework and fruit flavours generally linger through a long, flavoursome finish.

Classically Margaret River with its powerful palate and super fruit intensity, there is a nice mix of grapefruit and pear with a little roasted cashew influence.
