Grape Varietal: Durif Vineyard Region: Riverina Colour: Medium deep purple. Aroma: Aromas of raspberry and fruits of the forest, hints of milk chocolate and blackcurrant coulee, with undertones of oak characters of pinewood. Palate: Dark and full bodied, yet not over the top. Flavours of dark black forest fruit, raspberry sauce and cocoa nib. A medium tawny in appearance, the wine has a full warming palate with rich flavours of toffee, cherry vanilla and caramel. The wine although being sweet, still fin is hes fresh and lively. Complimented by aromas of vanilla and toast with a hint of raisins and fruitcake. Best as a late night tipple but can be a perfect wine to accompany chocolate and mixed nuts. This tawny also pairs well with a rich dessert such as sticky date pudding or a chocolate tart. The grapes are harvested at optimum maturity and then fermented for a short ti me on their skins . The wine is then drained and pressed and the grape spirit is added to the fermenting. A portion of th is wine spends time maturing in used Whisky barrels for one year. The wine is then clarified, stabilised and a portion of the wine goes to barrel to mature in ambient temperature. Delicious drinking now but will also cellar for up to 3 years.

An elegant bouquet of pineapple, marmalade and botrytis characters. Luscious palate of peach & citrus flavours combines with botrytis sweetness, finishing with a slight touch of refreshing acidity.

Full bodied. Aromas of dark cherry and blood plum over milk chocolate oak. The palate displays rich and generous flavours of black cherry, plum pudding and dark chocolate melded with earth and vanillin notes.

On the nose it displays aromas of hazelnuts, guava and subtle marjoram spice. Wrapping around a core of chalky minerality are flavours of nectarine, guava and melon. Bringing it all together is a lemon pith, bitter almond character that complements the wickedly savoury and textured finish.
