The Founder's Block shiraz features aromas of vibrant dark and red-berry fruit, hints of violet and cinnamon spice notes. Lots of soft tannins, some vanillin oak making for a harmonious and balanced wine for the price.

The Bill & Arthur is named after two pioneering and well-regarded Coonawarra local legends and, we are delighted to tell you, that in the glass, this special exclusive is deep, dark and downright delicious. Drawn from the 1890s heritage row and other Redman vineyards with an average vine age of about 50 years, the Bill & Arthur stands as a classic Coonawarra Shiraz: medium-bodied, with a richness of fruit that ripens at a lower alcohol level than typical Barossa and McLaren Vale Shiraz. Hand-plunged and basket-pressed, the 2021 exhibits generous blackcurrent, violet and bramble aromas, leading to a savoury flavor profile with a touch of pepper and Chinese five-spice playing in the background. Just add barbequed ribeye with black pepper sauce. Dan Redman describes the 2021 vintage as one of Coonawarra’s best. Matured in aged American and French oak for about 12 months. Will cellar for 5 to 10 years but ready for immediate drinking pleasure.

Hidden Ridge Cabernet Shiraz Merlot displays aromas of plum, dark cherry and raspberry. These dark berry fruit flavours surround the palate with subtle oak notes and leave a long, generous finish.

This Shiraz, handcrafted from fruit grown on the Longbottom familys vineyards in South Australias Padthaway region, was described by the Tasting Panel as pure class. In the glass: Deep, dark red with a brick hue. On the nose: Currant, cedar, cassis and anise aromas. On the palate: Showing beautiful bottle development, its juicy, velvety and full-bodied with loads of dark berry, cedar, cassis and menthol. Vibrant and still youthful, it has fine, velvety tannin depth and complex, beautifully integrated oak.

Inky powerhouse of black cherry, cassis, graphite and cocoa. Palate flows on precisely from the nose with black cola concentrate, dark chocolate and liquorice intensity, deep espresso-like tannins, bright acidity and plenty of oak.

This Cabernet Shiraz blend from Majella, icons of Coonawarra, is all about bright youthful fruit. Made with little oak influence, the upfront mulberry and blackcurrant characters are supported by fine lingering tannins.

In June 1790 after a hard six month voyage, the Second Fleet arrived at Sydney Cover where a tiny penal colony had been established by the first fleet two years below. Over a thousand convicts started the journey and while over 200 perished during the voyage, the survivors worked hard to carve our a new life in the fledging colon which would one day become Australia. This opulent shiraz is deep brick red with purple hues in colour. It displays layers of dark berry fruits and pepper spice with soft tannins, giving way to a smooth lingering finish. This wine pairs perfectly with an eye-fillet of beef or braised lamb shanks.
