Hailing from northern Italy, the Lubiana family have been winemakers for generations. Since 1990 Stefano has continued his family's legacy in the pristine vineyards of Tasmania. The fruit for this wine comes from some of the best vineyards in Derwent River. Stefano's care and meticulous attention to detail, result in a wine of both power and elegance.

The wine displays a vibrant red colour. On the nose rose petal and black cherry aromas are supported by attractive stemmy, whole bunch characters. The palate is soft and round with sweet fruit flavours and a creamy texture. Bright natural acidity provides a crisp lingering finish.

Strelley Farm Estate is located in the heart of Tasmanias Coal River Valley wine region and is connected to the historical town of Richmond by the oldest bridge in Australia, the Richmond Bridge. Perfumed aromas redolent of ripe raspberry and red cherry are nuanced by brooding dark plum and subtle oak spice. The palate is supple and lithe with upfront appeal and a long, concentrated fruit core framed by silky tannins and bright acidity to finish.

Tasmania’s south has emerged as a pinot noir powerhouse. This is fruit harvested from three vineyards, ensuring only the best quality goes into the end product. The wine is marked first and foremost by amazing aromatics; rose petals and spice overlapping raspberry coulis and winter strawberry. Wet earth and even some petroleum sneak in, adding layers to the experience. It demands a second and third pass under the nose, each time a new leaf lifted and a new aroma revealed - a surefire mark of quality in fruit and winemaking both. On the pallet the red and blue fruit come alive - vibrant and bountiful. The acid sits low in the mouth, and the fruit kind of dances along the back of it. Select parcels of basket-pressed fruit and time maturing in oak barrel give this Pinot Noir a subtle complexity; its rich, savoury and toasty palate shining through aromas of juicy red currants, raspberries, and spice.

Avancé is the first red from Glaetzer-Dixon to advance from barrel to bottle each season. Working and travelling through many wine-making regions on the European Continent gave Nick, their wine maker, insight into the lighter wine styles, keenly sought after by the local village people for their fresh fruit driven flavours.

From the moment of bottling, this wine presents beauty and strength with delicacy. As a classically structured Tasmanian single block red, this wine is in no way to be taken lightly, albeit being a subtle and soft red. To start with, the magnificent ruby colour is a treat for the eye with delightful cherry and dark stone fruits, white flesh plum, soft black tea and white pepper present on tasting, possibly a larger nose than front palate yet delivering a great depth of the varietal.

Crimson Red in colour with a maroon hue. There is an immediate explosion of fruit aromas on the nose, with dark cherry, blackberry and pomegranate. There is elements of spice and bunch paired with toast and earth adding complexity. The palate displays a lush and layered density of fruit with dark cherry and forest berry flavours to the fore.
