Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz
Henschke Mount Edelstone is one of the most important single vineyard sites in Australia. The 90 year old vines has been producing a single vineyard Shiraz since 1952 and is one of Australia's truly great wines. The nose has sweet ripe plum and blueberry aromas and the palate is intense and deeply flavoured. While enjoyable upon release, this is a wine that will enjoy a decade or more in the cellar.

Product Description: Volnay’s crown jewel—classical, poised, and profoundly long-lived. The 2020 Clos des Ducs 1er Cru from Domaine Marquis d’Angerville is the domaine’s grand vin in every sense. Sourced from a 2.15-hectare monopole at the top of Volnay's limestone-rich slope, this wine is often spoken of as a Grand Cru in all but name. In 2020—a vintage Guillaume d’Angerville considers his best since taking the reins in 2003—the Clos des Ducs delivers extraordinary structure and precision, even as it carries the warmth of the year with effortless finesse. Perfumed and supremely detailed, this wine opens with wild strawberry, incense, rose petal and forest floor. The palate is compact, mineral-charged and impeccably balanced, with fine tannins that promise decades of graceful evolution. The 1.5L magnum format only adds to its cellaring potential. Drink 2030–2060. Clos des Ducs is at home with the finest dishes: truffle-scented pigeon, venison loin, or simply enjoyed in quiet reverence.
