Chateau Troplong-Mondot 1er grand cru classe

CHATEAU LE TERTRE ROTEBOEUF Grand cru

Beginning with his first vintage at Tertre Roteboeuf in 1978, François Mitjavile didnt need long to grow his (staunchly!) unclassified estate into one of the most respected names in St Emilion. Part winemaker, part philosopher, Mitjavile is one of the great characters of Bordeaux. He could be considered almost Burgundian in his approach - the opulence and grandeur are for his wines, not his front gate, the cellars are not gilded halls and statues. Mitjavile generally picks late, uses 100% new oak, and produces no second wine. Truly one of the personalities of the region.

Chateau Haut-Bailly Pessac-Leognan

Chateau Haut-Bailly is a Cru Classe de Graves in 1959. It has a distinctive style that harmoniously combines classicism with modernity, elegance, finesse and softness with structure. The silky smoothness of the tannins echoes the elegant yet complex aromas.Delicate, elegant, graceful and easy to drink today, this medium bodied, soft wine leaves with fresh, silky, smoky, spicy red and black fruits in the finish.

Chateau d'Issan, 5eme Cru

Te Mata Estate Coleraine Cabernet Merlot

Te Matas Hawkes Bay estate is a prestigious winery with a rich history, producing some of New Zealands most celebrated wines. If the Langtons Classification crossed the Tasman, Te Mata Coleraine would sit alongside Grange at its very pinnacle. Established, esteemed, outstanding vintage after vintage, the glowing adjectives come thick and fast.

Chateau Belair-Monange 1er grand cru classe

Previously known as Chateau Belair, the name was changed to Belair-Monange upon its full purchase by the Moueix family in 2008. The 12 ha vineyard is planted predominately to Merlot with some Cabernet Franc growing on limestone and clay soils. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and lined concrete tanks prior to undergoing maturation in a mix of new and seasoned barriques for 18 months. A philosophy encompassing reduced yields, later harvesting and meticulous fruit selection have resulted in a richer more generous, concentrated style since 2008.

Château Pavie Macquin Saint-Émilion

Château Pavie Macquin is stunningly situated on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion on the right bank of Bordeaux. In recent years, the introducing of biodynamic viticulture and modernised winemaking techniques promoted the Château to a Premier Grand Cru Classé classification in 2006. Vintage 2007, a traditional blend dominated by Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon brings a rich palate brimming with ripe berry fruit flavour with slight undertones of tobacco and mint leaf.
