Catalina Sounds still exudes all of those fantastic qualities that we all fell in love with. Perfumed aromas of gooseberry with hints of tropical fruit, the palate follows with fresh and zingy characters that display ripe passionfruit and citrus flavours all complimented by lingering acidity.

Isabel Estate is an always much sought after Sauvignon Blanc and is regarded as one of the jewels of Marlborough. Winemaking inputs such as barrel ferment and lees ageing contribute to it's complexity.

A relatively new name but Dog Point's owners have years of experience in Marlborough and this label is much sought after. This release is beautifully textured rich and delicious.

Forrest Estate now have vineyards in premium Otago and Gimlett Gravels but grapes for Field of Stones Sauvignon are pure Marlborough, grown on the very stony soil adjacent to the Forrest winery, hence the name ‘Field of Stones’. The fruit is harvested in the cool of the night and early morning to maximise the mineral freshness and the lemon thyme, elderflower and guava flavours. Bring on the seafood platter!

Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. Dr Forrest and his wife Brigid (also a doctor) use techniques in the vineyard to allow the grapes to obtain maximum flavour, but keep sugar (and therefore alcohol) levels down. No fancy winery or laboratory tricks – just some very clever canopy management and timing as to when they pick. This delicious lower alcohol (9.5%) Rosé melds Pinot Noir with the white grape Arneis to create a delightfully fresh and lively pink, bursting with fresh strawberries, ripe red cherry, and just a hint of aromatic herbs like sage and thyme.

This Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc has been made from grapes sourced from hidden vineyards in the Awatere Valley, which is on the very edge of Marlborough. Light straw in colour, with refreshing layers of lemon, lime pith and freshly squeezed grapefruit, the citrus notes lead to a textural finish with delicious balance.
