Kim Crawford Small Parcels Sauvignon Blanc is a true expression of the complexities Marlborough has to offer. Although the harvest was smaller than anticipated, the vintage is being hailed as exceptional across Marlborough. Favorable weather conditions allowed the vines to ripen perfectly, this resulted in excellent ripeness, with wines showcasing impressive flavour intensity and depth. The wine reveals intense, lifted aromatics tropical fruit that lead into a range of complex flavours, including distinct mineral and flinty notes accenting its rich hefty palate that last through a clean, crisp finish.

The bouquet is pure and expressive showing vibrant passionfruit, tropical fruit and grapefruit aromas, with underlying blackcurrant leaf and herbal notes. The palate is concentrated and elegant, with fruit flavours that are consistent with the nose; grapefruit, mango and herbal. A lively acidity and mineral drive, provide the wine with exceptional concentration and length.

Our Rapaura Springs Reserve Chardonnay is rich and flavourful. Each bottle is bursting with honeysuckle, white peach, nectarine and fresh citrus, all complemented by toasty vanilla and subtle spiced oak characters. The 2022 season was not without challenges with significant rain events leading into harvest. Careful fruit selection was required from two sections of organically grown vines around the winery (90%) and Andalane vineyard further down Conder Bend Road a mere 500m from the estate. Soils here are of the old riverbed type with fist sized stones composed of greywacke (a hard, dark type of sandstone streaked with quartz and feldspar), mixed alluvial gravels and silt. Consequently, vine canopies lack vigour, the fruiting zone is more exposed to the elements and yields are naturally lower. These factors produce an atypical style of Sauvignon Blanc.

Aromatics are reminiscent of mandarin pith, wet stone and bees wax. Vibrant, intense, focused palate with orange, and stone fruit flavours held together by good line of juicy acidity and elegant texture.

An off-dry lower alcohol style, Felton Roads Bannockburn Riesling displays floral lift and fleshy stone fruit richness balanced by taut racy acidity. The fruit comes from Calvert & The Elms vineyards in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago. The grapes are whole bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, with the ferment arrested when the desired balance between acidity, alcohol and residual sugar is reached.

Anna and Jason Flowerday run the Te Whare Ra vineyard in Marlborough according to organic and bio-dynamic practices. The fruit is picked and sorted by hand, then processed in a winery especially designed for small-batch wine-making. This dry Pinot Gris is finely structured with great purity and length of flavour. Lifted aromas of nashi pear, raspberry, red apple and white florals follow on to the palate, where they're balanced by a fine, supple texture and lingering minerality.

On the nose, this Sauvignon has characters of elderflower and white currant with ripe tropical and citrus fruits. These follow on the palate, which is fine and soft with vibrant, fleshy fruit, balanced by ripe, juicy acidity and lingering minerality.
