Cuveé Aux Antipodes is the meeting of two winemakers from the two hemispheres. The old world represented by François Millet of Chambolle-Musigny, Burgundy, where he has made wine since 1986. The new world, by the site - the Prophet's Rock Home Vineyard in Central Otago, and its winemaker Paul Pujol.

The heady nose for this Stefano Lubiana Pinot Noir is intoxicating with its ripe cherry spice, bright raspberry and a mix of delicious savoury flavours that tantalise the palate. The final journey of this outstanding wines structure is one of long, silky tannins the perfect finale.

Bouchard Père et Fils, who have owned vineyards here since 1791, today own 2.32 hectares of this 9.39ha premier cru vineyard located at the most northern end of Beaune, right near the Savigny Les Beaune vineyard of the same name. This always well priced wine is typically medium bodied with discreet wood and can be enjoyed young.

Les Seuvrees is below Mazoyeres-Chambertin on the Morey border. From a 0.27 hectare parcel of 70+ year old vines. An unmistakable Gevrey nose: black fruits, earth, iron and hummus. Intense and powerful, quite masculine. Good weight on the palate culminating in a firm but fine tannic finish.

Central Otago is regarded as the best for NZ Pinot Noir. Ripe bouquet of satsumas, plum & meat. Firm soft tannins.
