Rob Dolan True Colours Chardonnay

Hill Ridge Yarra Valley Chardonnay

A pale lemon wine with a lifted floral and stone fruit nose. The palate carries through these fruit forward characers and adds layers of buttered toast and biscuit. It is a wie that is textured , full, yet crisp, with a lingering citrus peel finish.

Hoddles Creek Estate Chardonnay

Franco DAnna is an absolue perfectionist from vineyard to bottle. This is a fantastic example of rich, powerful Chardonnay. In the glass: Pale lemon. On the nose: Ruby grapefruit, apple, peach and cashew. On the palate: Powerful and layered with a solid core of white and yellow fruit, nutty complexity, creamy texture, a subtle salty hint, racy acidity and lovely savoury oak support.

Yering Station Yarra Chardonnay

Mount Mary Chardonnay

Langton's Classification: Excellent

At Mount Mary they aim to make a Chardonnay of great length that is able to reach a balance between complexity & finesse. Unashamedly Burgundian in concept, local Yarra Valley practices are employed to fully express the unique terroir, including the wine not going through Malolactic fermentation as Mount Mary's cool-climate leaves the fruit with ideal acidity when picked. Matured in 20% new French barriques with the remainder in older barrels and large casks and along with grape solids, this is a Chardonnay of impressive texture and complexity.

Tarrawarra Estate Reserve Chardonnay Cellar Release

Racked directly to barrel after whole-bunch pressing, the fruit batches from each block are kept entirely separate in barrel over the 10 months in oak. Some wild fermentation provided interesting aromas and texture to the final blend. A wine of fine complexity it displays lime and white peach aromas. The flavour is long and seamless on the palate with fruit that is tightly wound with minerality and lime zest. A wine to drink and enjoy now or cellar for 10 or more years.

Levantine Hill Katherine's Paddock Chardonnay

This Katherines Paddock Chardonnay combines the richness, drive and classicism of one clone with the fine-boned flinty structure and chalky notes of the other. It is stylish with the modern expression of Australian style Chardonnay: tense, taut and sulphidic. It reclaims the middle ground where body, flavour and palate weight co-exist with structure, texture and restrained acidity. This single-vineyard Chardonnay has well integrated natural acidity with rich varietal expression.

Yering Station Chardonnay

From the ever impressive Yering Station, this Chardonnay offers toasty barrel ferment characters, good supporting oak and ripe peach aromas leading to a textured and well rounded palate. One of the better value examples out there.

Wild Folk Natural Chardonnay

Wild Folk - delicious, naturally! A range of natural, easy drinking wines that offer great value and consistency. Wild Folk are wild yeast fermented, vegan friendly, preservative free wines that have no additions & taste as nature intended.

Yeringberg Chardonnay

A more restrained style, Yeringberg Chardonnay has some minerally notes overlayed with subtle hints of fermentation in French oak barrels. Not an overt wine, yet possessed of impressive intensity. It should develop a soft and smooth maturity after several years in the cellar.
