Yalumba Y Series Chardonnay

This wine opens with aromas of honeysuckle and tropical fruits such as paw paw. There is a touch of complexity from the wild fermentation, just enough to let you know that under the pretty facade is a fun and adventurous wine. The palate is an alluring combination of fresh fruits, spices such as white pepper and just enough wildness to keep you coming back for another glass. It finishes with a fresh cleansing line of citrus zest.

Tangled Vine Chardonnay

Taylors One Small Step Chardonnay

The 20th of July 1969 is a significant day in history: not only was it the day that astronaut Neil Armstrong took one small step on the surface of the moon, but also the same day Bill Taylor travelled to, and first set foot on, what was to become their renowned family vineyard. While one stepped on the barren lunar surface, the other stepped on rich terra rossa soils with the hope and determination to craft wines to rival the world's best. Taylors One Small Step Chardonnay displays fleshy yellow peach, subtle pineapple and citrus flavours. There is a refreshing, tight acidity and a lovely clean finish.

Marquis D'alban Sauvignon Bordeaux

An intense nose with grapefruit and boxwood aromas. The palate is lively and generous palate with white peach and lime aromas. Long finish with citrus notes. Makes a nice change to New Zealand sauvignon blanc's.

Brookland Valley Verse 1 Chardonnay

A full flavoured wine from the popular Margaret River region. It has a beautiful balance of sweet citrus fruits complemented by nougat and grilled nut flavours. Suits cheese, tapas and chicken dishes. 'When a company makes cutting-edge top-shelf wine the quality usually lows down to cheaper wines in its portfolio. We can taste - this deliciously in Verse 1 chardonnay, little sibling of the far more expensive Brookland Valley Chardonnay and relative of several other classy chardonnays (including Eileen Hardy Chardonnay) in the Accolade Wine Group. We bought our bottle for just under $13 during a recent visit to Wollongong and came back for seconds. What a delight it is - crisp, fresh, smoothly textured and packed with juicy, nectarine-like varietal flavour. It's widely distributed, often discounted, a safe bet every time.' - Sunday Canberra Times, 05 May 2013, by Chris Shanahan.
