Chateau de la Jaubertie Monbazillac ( )
Made from Semillon & Muscadelle, this botrytized desert style is the most well-known wine of Bergerac and Dordogne (in southwest France). Pungently floral and fruity with honey and dried apricot perfumes from the Muscadelle grape, then plant-based fragrances. Finally, some flavours such as vanilla and toast are associated with barrel aging. This is still young but has great potential.

Layers of lush stewed fruits, succulent plum and currant, are ably supported by plush tannins with subtle nuances of vanillin and mocha.
