It displays glossy pink hues, with a bouquet of ripe berry fruit, sweet violets and strawberries. This rose is made in parallel with elegant European styles. The palate has lovely length with a crisp finish.

A couple of months in old oak has imparted subtle textural notes, which add depth to the bright core of red fruits. A lovely modern Rosé.Attractive mid orange with a pink hue. Moderate intensity berry fruit and floral lift. Soft and clean with layers of focussed berry fruit, and good length and persistence. An abundant and generous style with excellent all-round appeal.

Grenache was hand-picked specifically for the production of rose. The fruit was crushed and macerated for 2 hours to increase colour pick-up as well as some natural fruit tannin. The must was then gently pressed to liberate the juice, and then 80% was fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain delicate fruit aromas. The wine recognises Darren Heidenreich of Possum Creek Vineyards in Angaston, Barossa Valley. And when it came to finding the best selection of Shiraz grapes for this new Rosé, the Angaston Road winemakers knew instantly to reach out to Darren. The single vineyard fruit is crushed and soaked on skins for two hours to extract a lovely pink colour. It's lightly pressed, cold settled and fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain fresh aromas and flavours throughout. Enjoy a fruity nose of strawberry and orange, while flavours of mixed berries, lightly spiced red cherry and zingy citrus burst in your mouth. Grown, crafted and bottled in the Barossa using local glass, capsules and 100% recycled paper labels. Vegan friendly.

Vinification is simple and centred around preserving the delicacy, freshness and vitality found in early picked old vine fruit. This Spinifex Rose consists of Grenache (52%), Cinsault (30 %), Mataro (14%) and Ugni blanc (4%). Bunches from mature (averaging 65 years of age) dry drown vineyards are hand harvested and the crushed and left to macerate for between 4 and 48 hrs prior to pressing.
