Red wine artisan, Marco Cirillo, has produced a single vineyard Shiraz with as minimal intervention as possible. Using 90% whole berry and 10% whole bunch as well as natural yeast fermentation without fining or filtering, this Shiraz screams of its terroir. De Iuliis Estate Shiraz is a deep-red coloured wine with a vibrant purple hue. The wine is savoury, earthy and spicy on the nose with a touch of cherry, blackcurrant and plum. The palate has a soft mouthfeel from fine-grained tannins and captivates with flavours of ripe plums and blackberries. This medium to full-bodied Hunter Valley Shiraz will continue to improve with careful cellaring. Enjoy it with BBQ lamb cutlets or red sauce pasta.

The 2015 De Iuliis Steven Vineyard Shiraz shows a deep crimson colour with a purple hue and contains 13% of alcohol. Intense aromas of berry, spice and pepper flow from the vibrant bouquet while the palate is rich and juicy with flavours of black cherries, ending the wine in a captivating climax. This Shiraz varietal develops strong fruit characters with a cellaring period of 10 years and tastes best with slow cooked lamb shoulder and BBQ pork.
