Clonakilla Riesling is an unsung hero of Tim Kirk's stable of beautiful wines. Herbal with white flowers aromas with citrus and stone fruit bouquet, it has a clean, ripe fruit and zesty finish.

Lark Hill have been the pioneers of this traditional Austrian variety. It was back in 2002 when Jancis Robinson visited the vineyards and stated that Lark Hill was the perfect place to grow Grüner Veltliner due to its overall terroir. With links to bio-dynaimc farming already being established, Chris Carpenter thought it was the obvious connection to begin making Grüner. Wonderfully fragrant with more than a hint of spice, Lark Hill's Grüner has a lovely textural component to it as well making it an ideal match white fish, shell fish and subtle charcuterie.

This fine elegant Riesling has aromas of lime juice and honey blossom while the palate offers excellent fruit weight with minerally flavours that linger on the finish. Drinking beautifully and sure to age well.

The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.

Frankland River is one of WA's most respected Riesling producers. This wine shows classic lemon and lime varietal characters with terrific fruit intensity and great cellaring potential.

High-quality wine, nectarine and white peach driving the initial impetus, grapefruit and acidity the finish; controlled barrel ferment oak the clincher.

The wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit. An intense and generous palate, with lively citrus fruit and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.

Lerida Estate Lake George Pinot Noir is 100% sourced from the estate vineyad at Lake George. Maturated in French oak for just under a year, this armoatic and perfumed Pinot shows cherry, red current, allspice, vanilla and gamey aromas. Once in the mouth, the wine displays luscious red fruits with a balanced savoury backbone with fine, integrated tannin.

Paringa Estate is known as one of the finest small producers in Australia. Pinot Noir is the flagship variety, they also make Shiraz and Riesling. The fruit for this Riesling comes off 20 year old vines, and makes wine of intense focus, structure and finesse.

Whenever we taste a blind Shiraz line up where this wine is featured, it's hard not to be lured into its enticing character of purity and style. Hauntingly akin to a Northern Rhone example, violets, spice, wild herb and earth wrap around a delicious core of red fruits and plum. Bravo Nick O'Leary. 'Canberra's benign 201213 growing season produced, in abundance, grape quality not seen in the much cooler, wetter 2011 and 2012 vintages. Our exciting 2013 reds include Nick O'Leary's shiraz a jaw dropper that kept judges gaping as they piled gongs on it at the 2014 Royal Brisbane Wine Show. They gave it a gold medal, then three trophies: best one-year-old red of the show (Stoddart trophy), best shiraz of the show and best red of the show. This is a significant achievement for Canberra shiraz and not just for O'Leary. It provides yet more recognition, in a hotly contested national event, of our region's distinctive style. O'Leary's highly perfumed, medium-bodied wine shows the vibrant red berry- and-spice character of cool-grown shiraz on a luscious, silky palate, cut with fi ne tannins. This classic Riesling has crisp and racy finish with a slight touch of sweetness to balance the natural acidity.
