Clonakilla Riesling is an unsung hero of Tim Kirk's stable of beautiful wines. Herbal with white flowers aromas with citrus and stone fruit bouquet, it has a clean, ripe fruit and zesty finish.

Whenever we taste a blind Shiraz line up where this wine is featured, it's hard not to be lured into its enticing character of purity and style. Hauntingly akin to a Northern Rhone example, violets, spice, wild herb and earth wrap around a delicious core of red fruits and plum. Bravo Nick O'Leary. 'Canberra's benign 201213 growing season produced, in abundance, grape quality not seen in the much cooler, wetter 2011 and 2012 vintages. Our exciting 2013 reds include Nick O'Leary's shiraz a jaw dropper that kept judges gaping as they piled gongs on it at the 2014 Royal Brisbane Wine Show. They gave it a gold medal, then three trophies: best one-year-old red of the show (Stoddart trophy), best shiraz of the show and best red of the show. This is a significant achievement for Canberra shiraz and not just for O'Leary. It provides yet more recognition, in a hotly contested national event, of our region's distinctive style. O'Leary's highly perfumed, medium-bodied wine shows the vibrant red berry- and-spice character of cool-grown shiraz on a luscious, silky palate, cut with fi ne tannins. Since the early 90's, Penfolds have been producing Chardonnay from the cool climate region of Tumbarumba. The Chardonnay is elegant with white florals, stone fruits and a great acidity structure. Maturation in French Oak gives the Bin 311 a subtle nutty savoury flavour through and through. A great all season wine for all sorts of occasions.

Paringa Estate is known as one of the finest small producers in Australia. Pinot Noir is the flagship variety, they also make Shiraz and Riesling. The fruit for this Riesling comes off 20 year old vines, and makes wine of intense focus, structure and finesse.

This classic Riesling has crisp and racy finish with a slight touch of sweetness to balance the natural acidity.

The lively palate shows lime, lemon and spice with hints of crushed apple. Mouth watering laser like acidity will ensure this wine will live for many years. A single vineyard wine sourced from the Westering vineyard opposite Lake George. The grapes were hand harvested at 11.3 Baume and whole bunch pressed. Juice was cool fermented in stainless steel and the wine held on light lees until bottling in July 2018. Situated in the picturesque Hall Valley, in the Murrumbidgee River corridor, just outside the ACT, the Nick O'Leary estate incorporates a modern winemaking facility and a mature five hectare vineyard. Since their beginnings, well over a decade ago, their focus has always been to make hand worked Shiraz and Riesling wines that truly exhibit the character of the region as well as expressing Nick's unique personality and style. His wines have received high profile recognition at a national and international level including the prestigious Stodart Trophy in 2014 and the NSW Wine of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 the latter being the first and only time in the awards 20-year history that the accolade has been received multiple times by a single producer, let alone in consecutive years.

Lerida Estate Lake George Pinot Noir is 100% sourced from the estate vineyad at Lake George. Maturated in French oak for just under a year, this armoatic and perfumed Pinot shows cherry, red current, allspice, vanilla and gamey aromas. Once in the mouth, the wine displays luscious red fruits with a balanced savoury backbone with fine, integrated tannin.

The cool climate of the ACTs Canberra District is the perfect place to grow and produce quality Chardonnay and Lerida Estate Lake George Chardonnay is a fine example. Picked early to maintain its distinctive freshness and elegance, this delicious white has a vibrant aroma of quince, nectarine and orange zest with a hint of cashew. The palate demonstrates tangy white stone fruit and grapefruit characters with a subtle mineral undertone that adds complexity. 100% barrel fermented and matured for 11 months with regular lees stirring in French oak, this is a classic, definitive Chardonnay.

Langtons is proud to be first to market with the inaugural vintage of this Riesling, a selection from a very special part of the famous Contours vineyard. When it comes to Eden Valley Riesling, no name is greater than the Langtons Classified Contours Riesling from Pewsey Vale. The Contours vineyard was first planted in 1841, but the distinctive site we know today -- with vines planted along the contours of an Eden Valley hillside rather than in straight rows -- dates from the 1960s. From 1961 in fact, and this new wine comes from a single block of the oldest vines, planted in that year on a north-facing slope. The Contours Riesling is released with five years of bottle age. This new wine -- although almost equally ageworthy -- is a more approachable style and therefore suitable for release (like most other Rieslings) in the year following vintage. For many (or most) the 1961 Block Riesling will be indistinguishable from The Contours. The value here is obvious.

Hungerford Hill Chardonnay displays citrus aromas with nuances of nectarine, seasoned spicy oak and minerality on the nose. There is complex layers on the palate compose of great length of acidity balanced by nutty French oak flavours and lees characters.
